1st day of school
yesterdays was my first day of school(september 2, 2008). overall it was pretty good. i had only one class iLearning because this week is just orientation. next week i will start all my classes and really get a view of insight. there was a few problems with the test. Some of the questions on the test were incorrect. But they said they would fix so nothing to worry about there. don’t worry it wasn’t like a big test just several some 10 question quizzes on conduct, attendance and etc. they were easy. since it was just orientation there was just a little work to do but i kept going so by the end of the first day i was finished for the week.
angel the schools computer program is a little different than i thought it would be. it’s a program that I don’t think they should of picked As far as i know they used powerschool last year and i thought that would have been better. On angel the interface is horrible in my view getting around the site takes longer than it should. It just seems a little clumsy. and they message boards are so much different than i thought the would be they are vary hard to get around and to see new pages you have to go back and go in to the message board again beacuse refreshing the page brings you back to your home page. Also each unit has a different message board. so if one student is in one class in one unit the other student could be in another class and another unit.
I still think insight was a vary good choice for me to make but some of the problems i have had with them could have been avoided so easily on there part. and it’s just time consuming for me to be correcting all these problems when i have school work to focus on. but its only the first day things could get much better but I’m scared there could be a chance they get worse to. but at the time thing are fixed and i am ready to go.
